Panama is located on the isthmus connecting North and South America, and it’s bordered by the Caribbean Sea, the Pacific Ocean, Costa Rica and Colombia. Visitors to this country are usually attracted by the impressive Canal of Panama – named as one of the seven modern wonders of the world by the American Society of Civil Engineers. The country also has its shares of white sand beaches, mountains and rivers where you can bask in the sun, or surf, dive, hike and fish. Most of its small towns were founded in colonial times, which means there also many 17th and 18th centuries buildings and churches to visit and take pictures of.
